Constant Image Drops GoDaddy

As of April 2 2011, Constant Image has moved all domain names we own or manage to NameCheap.com.

We were appalled by the behavior of GoDaddy CEO Bob Parsons in the self-produced video showing him killing an elephant in Zimbabwe, giving villagers GoDaddy hats and doing a "trophy pose" with the dead animal, all to an AC/DC soundtrack. Unconscionable. Unacceptable.

Since 1996, designing, implementing and managing intranet and internet websites for clients in entertainment, small business, non-profit, and higher education ... with a dash of event planning, film consultation, and documentary production thrown in on the side.

To find a name, I went to a reliable source (Shakespeare) and found the following from Twelfth Night where the Duke remarks that, " ... all true lovers are Unstaid and skittish in all motions else Save in the constant image of the creature That is belov’d."

I liked this snippet because it reminded me of my clients. They may be "unstaid and skittish" with new technologies, but they love what they do, and are committed to it.

Their "creature" may be a philanthropic endeavor, writing the breakout novel, or living out that big dream of owning a small business. But it is the client's commitment to their "belov'd" that motivates me to help them find their "constant image."
